Do you give your audience a compelling reason to choose YOU?
Can you believe it’s already March? I feel like this year has flown on by already and things have certainly been keeping us on our toes here in the studio. As things get busy in life and in work, it’s so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of day to day life that you start to lose touch and sight with your vision. The thing that you started your business for and what keeps you going!
And the ironic thing is that when you are feeling overly busy and stretched, that’s exactly when you need some time off or away from your computer to reflect so you can make smart decisions and make real progress.
I’m telling you all of this because that’s how I was feeling last week. I’m so grateful that our business is growing as an incredible pace but sometimes that makes it hard to switch off as I want to give 100% to everything I do. However, it may seem like working 546,790 hours means you’ll get everything done but by taking some time to reflect you could make some smart changes that actually eradicates half the workload.
If we don’t take a step back to review everything, how can we see things clearly enough to find these areas that need optimisation? We have consciously taken time out over the past few weeks to overhaul and upgrade our systems. And has it added to our workload? Yes! But the rewards are already starting to pay off which is so exciting to see! Our service is becoming even smoother, more refined and injected with customer surprise and delight at even more touchpoints.
By taking some time to reflect, we identified an area that we could supercharge our brand experience even more.
And so I bring this video to you today to help you to identify what you could do differently with your brand. As you know, it’s easier that ever to start a business which means competition is higher than ever. It’s no longer good enough to just be good at what you do. You need that X factor, that WOW, that unique special sauce to really stand out.
And whether it’s having a customer experience worth talking about to a unique style or distinct niche – it’s worth taking the time out to really reflect on this.
Because you can spend hours trying to force people to take notice of your brand trying to post things here there and everywhere (working hard) OR you can take the time to refine your unique message and brand proposition and attract a targeted audience to you (working smart), the choice is yours!
I know which one I want you to choose 😉
Have a great week and as always, here’s to dreaming big!
